11/ Checking pre-press preparation and printing results

12/ Joint presentation and evaluation of results

Výsledky učení

Graphic Design and Photography 1 builds on the introductory graphic design seminar and develops students' other skills and knowledge. Although this discipline is not a central focus for photography students, it can be a good tool for presenting or communicating certain topics. As a result of the learning, students should be able to further use their own visual material for outputs where there is a need to work with a certain temporality, where complete files are presented, or where the image is subsequently combined with text and other graphic elements. In undertaking such projects, not only does one's knowledge of the software deepen, but also one's ability to better articulate one's positions and view one's work critically.

Předpoklady a další požadavky

The prerequisite is completion of the Introduction to Contemporary Graphic Design seminar.

The subject of the assessment is the submission of the final file, mock-up or photo documentation of the project. Artistic inventiveness is evaluated, as well as the technical processing of the document.

Regular participation in the seminar is a prerequisite for the award of credit.
