Obsah

There are 2 main activities and thus 2 main goals in the Summer semester of 2nd year, both guided by tutors assigned with the project undertaken and conducted as part of a workshop.

Documentary – postproduction of the film - close collaboration between the directing tutor and the directing student and their crew during the post-production phase.

Graduation Project - preparation leading to successful Director's pitch of the project followed by accomplished script, approved storyboard, approved equipment list and detailed pre-production plan

Students regularly consult with a tutor regarding the final stages or development of their work/preparatory stage of the Graduation Project, and in the collaborative workshop environment, they learn from colleagues who are going through the same process, serving as each other’s first critics and audiences.

Výsledky učení

With the previous experience and the current ongoing work, students gain deeper grasp in collaboration of all film production departments, in precising their unique directorial voice and approach and in acquiring finished shape of the work commenced.

Students will master the art of developing and pitching a short Graduation Project as well as writing the script (possibly in collaboration) and prepare for the shoot.

Learn how to prepare the realistic production plan for their project and prepare for the production.
