Obsah

The workshop is defined space-time in which students receive pedagogical leadership not only in school exercises and work on their studies, but also in the wider framework of their future profession. Based on theoretical and practical reflections on specific topics builds a method of specific „film“ thinking.

The workshop should accentuate the open form of thinking about film and through the film, namely video and audio.

Výsledky učení

The primary aim of this workshop is to introduce the main topics associated with film editing such as the shot, camera angle, camera movement, space and time, composition, continuity editing, film sound, sound and space, film music, etc.. Students will also focus on the script, to its narrative structure, story and plot, character and conflict.

Students will learn the process of editing fiction and documentary films by applying both storytelling and technical skills. Students should understand their role as an essential co-operator and not only capable technician.

The aim of this group exercise from the Montage point of view is a practical use of theoretical knowledge gained in the studies, as well as development of basic professional habits in the collaboration with the director and other co-workers during the creation of a film work.
