The teaching content of the course Pedagogical Seminar TaV 1 is focused primarily on developing independent pedagogical practice, in which the student applies and actually verifies the knowledge and skills acquired from the Didactics and Methodology TaV classes, the material of which is built upon and developed towards capturing and developing the creative potential of children.
The course is closely linked to Didactics and Methodology of TaV.
Thematic areas
- Basic structure of the lesson - structure, motivation, theme, pedagogical intention
- Body - correct posture, individual body parts, articulation of movement, orientation points on the body
- basic body positions - lying, sitting, kneeling, standing
- preparatory exercises of individual muscle areas
- feeling the body axis, body vertical
- simple movement in space - walking, running, jumping, galloping
- conscious work with muscle tension of different parts of the body, relaxation, movement dynamics
Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is
- development of independent pedagogical thinking and creative potential and application of the acquired knowledge in the form of creating assignments or games developing the creative potential and natural movement of the child, taking into account the age category.
- Practical development of independent pedagogical work, awareness of the role and role of the teacher, formation of individual pedagogical style and direct confrontation with real situations in the form of teaching at selected state institutions (ZUŠ) or in private dance studios.

Evaluation methods and criteria
Credit is awarded on the basis of practical participation in the seminar, the student creates and presents a dance game or technical exercise for a given age group based on the topics covered.
Other requirements: portfolio creation (observation), elaboration of the assigned tasks and their practical presentation, orientation in the thematic areas of both semesters, attendance 100%.
Note
Teaching combines monological, applied, interactive teaching methods, encourages self-study within the framework of non-contact learning and student's critical thinking. The student is encouraged to create his/her own portfolio based on the acquisition of his/her own experience and skills.
Distance contact will be provided:
phone, email, video calls
through group platforms for communication between students (social networks, internet, apps, moodle, etc.
The student's independent work within the contactless learning consists of:
- the student prepares an oral presentation from the three observations completed in the main course.
- reflection on the topics covered and the teacher's approach in class.
- study of the assigned literature on the topics
- creation of a video recording of the lesson showing the processing of the assignment based on the topics covered

Based on the topics covered, the student will create and present a dance game or technical exercise for a specified age group.
The student will present a list of literature studied for each circuit.
Demonstrate at least three teaching hospitalizations in selected educational institutions.
