This course introduces students both theoretically and practically to a wide range of stop-motion animation techniques and technologies, with the exception of puppet animation, which is taught separately. Homework.

Learning outcomes

1st semester:

In the form of a seminar, students will be introduced to major works created by stop motion animation technologies and the specifics of their creation. Then they will try to create their own short animation etude in the given technology: paper, flat, silhouette. This semester's teaching will also include an introduction to working on a multiplanar animation table.
