In the Directing Tutorial 2 students work on the Triangle project as well as they getting ready for the winter semester project of the following year—the group exercise Atelier and Documentary.
Directing Tutorial 2 helps directors approach the story and the script development process from a conceptual and critical point of view. The content of the course aims towards developing a script with a specific directorial plan.
Students work on mastering directing techniques and developing directing skills. The project is created within the limits set by the description and nature of the exercise, which students have been following since the winter semester.
Based on the Triangle exercise parameters, student develops the short film format from their own original idea, through the story set-up towards the final film.
A significant portion of the summer semester in the Directing Tutorial will also be dedicated to preparing for the second-year projects—the group project Atelier and the individual project Documentary.
