This course is an introductory course that combines basic Czech language skills with a practical overview of life in the Czech Republic. Students gain essential communication abilities while exploring Czech history, traditions, everyday culture and contemporary society, enabling them to better understand and navigate the country in real-life contexts.

Learning outcomes

By the end of the course, students will be able to communicate at a basic level in Czech in everyday situations and understand fundamental language structures.

They will demonstrate knowledge of key aspects of Czech culture, history and contemporary society.

They will apply practical knowledge to navigate everyday life and intercultural situations in the Czech Republic.
