Obsah

The subject is closely linked to other subjects of the Master's practice. Its task is to expand the student's expressive register both in the technical and especially in the content aspect of his/her own work. The listener learns to generalize and expand the reasons and sources of inspiration for his/her own work, to seek and develop connections with contemporary tendencies in the visual arts, to place his/her own work in a broader context, and to be aware of its historical context.

In the area of technical processing, the listener focuses on precise execution and adaptation. The course motivates the learner to work intensively, continuously, and in a focused manner, which includes orientation to the subject matter, definition and verbalization of the theme, choice of medium and its form, and realization of the work.

1 - introduction to the topic, specification of outcomes, principles of linking to the author's work or creating an artistic intention

2 - installation methods, basics of technical drawing, hanging systems, glass cutting, framing

3 - 4 - joint visit to basic realization workshops - woodworking, metalworking, sculpture workshops, screen printing, space printing, bookbinding

5 - interventions, alterations and modifications of the exhibition space - construction of auxiliary walls and partitions, installation in the space, placement of projectors and other equipment in the exhibition space

6 - presentation of the final results - installation in the space

Výsledky učení

The student is able to work independently with the experience from previous cycles of practice, develop this experience independently and apply it in the implementation and presentation of his/her own project. The student can approach his/her work in the sense of intensive, continuous and focused work.
