Obsah
One-week intensive one-time workshop with the visiting teacher, where the editor-lecturer assigns the task of interpreting the roughCut he/she edited or script edited in the past.
The aim is to classify and evaluate the footage best in the sense that the author of the work wished, or otherwise, if the nature of the material allows it.
This approach provides the student with a real experience of editing contemporary film scenes and approaches the issues associated with the profession of master editor or script editor.
The program is accompanied by a summary in the form of lectures and debates.
Výsledky učení
The aim is to present editing as a creative process, forming the final shape of a film work. Editing is a major author element in addition to the necessary knowledge of technology for its implementation. It is requiring a specifically cinematic way of thinking, and is an integral part of more complex process of directing.
Therefore, the editing composition cannot be viewed as an autonomous discipline, otherwise it would only emphasize its technical aspects in the area the use of means of expression, and the technique of combining individual shots in aesthetic dimensions.
Editing composition is a form of communication, realized through one's own concept - manuscript - montage method and combinational skills.
Post-course skills:- ability to interpret foreign AV material
