This is the first effort to prepare a small theatre performance with the use of puppet theatre means. All the stage elements of the performance are prepared by the students. The main objective is to conduct a practical test of the knowledge acquired during seminars and to learn how to organize and manage stage work. The subject is a recap of all the skills acquired by the students in terms of practical and theoretical courses completed during previous semesters. It usually takes the form of a small theatrical form, all elements of which are the effect of the students’ own efforts (or as a result of joint efforts with other students, e.g. students of stage design). The students, under the supervision of the professor,

choose the topic, develop the stage script, analyse the text, decide on the performance’s concept and form, design (or codesign) the puppets, costumes, elements of the stage construction, and hold rehearsals until the final showing. Objectives: The aim of the subject is to create small theatrical forms, in which means of expression making use of theatre of live form are of main importance. Students choose the theme and idea of the form ( including search in the area of puppet constructions, scenography, theatre space creation). Also, they independently choose literary material, which is a base and inspiration for practical work.
