Obsah

The theme, aim and content of the summer master's internship are the ways of installing artworks in the gallery space, the forms of web presentations and the forms of author's books. In this semester, the student focuses on expanding their ideas and knowledge of the possibilities of practical installation and their importance to the overall message of the work and communication with the viewer. In the area of authorial research, the joint seminars discuss current and iconic methods of installation or authorial books with regard to the analysis of the technical design and technologies used.

1 - introduction to the topic, analysis of the actual work with regard to the installation methods and technologies used, analysis of the needs of the audience with regard to the preparation of the realization of the final year project and the intention of the intended part of the artistic work for the state final exam

2 - introduction of the main principles and groundbreaking or iconic ways of designing the installation - assignment - analysis of the individual projects or authors identified

3 - presentation of the analysis of the identified projects, discussion

4 - presentation of the results of own research and own research on the topic

5 - reflection on exhibitions, workshops or institutions visited together or individually

6 - joint presentation of the beginning of the authors' research based on visual examples and a paper

Výsledky učení

The student is able to search, analyze and develop sources of inspiration for his/her own work completely independently. The student knows how to install artwork in a gallery space, and is familiar with forms of web-based art presentations and artist books. The student is familiar with the principles of communication with the viewer in the gallery exhibition space and is able to use these principles in practice.

Hodnoticí metody a kritéria

The course ends with a classified examination. The prerequisite for completing the course is regular attendance at the seminar, preparation and presentation of the required thematic presentations or papers, (unless otherwise specified) one thematic presentation at the beginning of the thematic cycle and one presentation supplemented by a written report of 2-3 standard pages, which is also the basis for the explication of the project. The examination takes the form of a joint consultation on the results achieved.
