The dancer is engaged in performance practice according to his/her specialization in the field of, for example, classical ballet, modern and contemporary dance, folk dance, historical dance, social dance, etc. at a professional level in the department's events and extracurricular activities.

Learning outcomes

The goal of the Interpretive Practice course is to gain experience in dance practice in department events and extracurricular activities.

This can be fulfilled within all dance genres, for example, active interpetition in performances of classical ballet, modern or contemporary dance, folkloric troupe performances, historical dance, ballroom dance, etc.

To enable a deeper penetration into dances from a practical point of view, to acquire the ability to dance well, to interpret choreographies, to learn the relationship between dance and music in terms of rhythm, tempo and dynamics. To become aware of the relationships between movement technique, dance style and dance content. Gain knowledge and experience of stage dance practice and interpretation of given repertoire.

Condtions for credit are: class participation, preparations at home related to reviewing the material and study of trade literature. Presentation of the studied dances before and audience.
